1. What is Visa Travel Happy?
Visa Travel Happy is a travel platform providing one-stop access to Visa travel-related tools and information (Global Customer Assistance Services or GCAS, Concierge Services, Currency Converter and ATM Locator), overseas offers and promotions, destination travel content and iconic experiences, travel money facts, airport and WiFi access information. It is available on desktop and as a mobile site in addition to within this Application. You can plan and create your own personalized trips and download to a PDF file on the desktop version of the Visa Travel Happy website, and access your saved trips on your mobile phone. You can submit your travel experiences and share them with your friends via social networks.

2. What is DID THIS?
DID THIS is a function that enables you to declare your travel experiences. Tap the DID THIS button to mark experiences that you have accomplished.

3. What are Travel Badges?
Travel badges are awarded to users based on destinations visited and experiences accomplished.  The more active you are on Visa Travel Happy, the more badges you earn.  To see a complete list of your badges, go to My Visa > Profile & Settings.

4. What is the Currency Converter?
Use the Visa Currency Converter to get an indicative exchange rate when using your Visa card overseas. You can also use the converter to review experiences in the destination's local currency or your preferred currency to help you plan your trip. Rates apply to the date the transaction was processed by Visa; this may differ from the actual date of the transaction. When there is no data connection, the last rates saved will be used.

5. How do I change my country/region of residence
Country/region of residence” refers to your home country/region.  It is set to the country/region corresponding to your mobile device’s region format setting when the Application is first activated.

  • If you have customized your Application, go to My Visa > Profile & Settings. Tap“EDIT”, select another country/region using the dropdown menu followed by “DONE”.
  • If you have not customized your Application, go to My Visa. Tap “CUSTOMIZE”, select another country/region using the dropdown menu followed by “DONE”.

6. How can I change my preferred language?
The language of the Application is set to the default language of your country/region of residence.  The available set of languages is dependent on the languages available for the country/region of residence selected.

  • If you have customized your Application, go to My Visa > Profile & Settings.  Tap“EDIT”, select another language using the dropdown menu followed by “DONE”.
  • If you have not customized your Application, go to My Visa. Tap “CUSTOMIZE”, select another language using the dropdown menu followed by “DONE”.

7. How can I change my personalized information?

  • If you have already customized your Application, go to My Visa > Profile & Settings.  Tap “EDIT” to make your changes followed by “DONE”.
  • If you have not customized your Application, go to My Visa. Tap “CUSTOMIZE” to make your changes followed by “DONE”.

8. How do I switch location services on/off?
Some application services such as tap-to-call GCAS numbers, “Offers” and “Nearby” will only function if Location Services is turned on.  You can switch on/off location services for this Application in the preferences setting of your mobile device.

9. How can I switch alerts and notifications on/off?
You will receive alerts and notifications relevant to your country/region of residence if alerts and notifications are turned on for your mobile device. Adjust these settings on your mobile device to turn them off, but this means you will no longer receive alerts and notifications from the Application.

10. Do data charges apply when using the Application?
Data charges may apply when some services (such as “Nearby”) are accessed when you are connected via 3G/LTE instead of WiFi.  To avoid unwanted charges, please activate WiFi where possible and switch off data roaming when traveling overseas. Data charges will vary between operators.  Contact your mobile service provider to find out about data roaming charges.

11. How do I link to my Visa Travel Happy Account?

  • If you have customized your Application, go to My Visa > Profile & Settings.  Tap “EDIT” followed by “CONNECT” and sign in using:
    • Facebook Connect, or
    • By entering your email and password followed by tapping on “CONNECT”.
  • If you have not customized your Application, go to My Visa.  Tap “CUSTOMIZE” followed by “CONNECT” and sign in using:
    • Facebook Connect, or
    • By entering your email and password followed by tapping on “CONNECT”.

Only accounts verified on the Visa Travel Happy Website can be connected to the Application.

12. How do I disconnect from my Visa Travel Happy Account? 
To disconnect from Visa Travel Happy, go to My Visa.  Tap “CUSTOMIZE” followed by “DISCONNECT” and select “YES” to confirm.

Once disconnected, you can no longer view trips and experiences that you have created on the Application. Your travel badges will no longer be visible and you will not be able to submit experiences or tap on “DID THIS” to mark experiences that you have accomplished.

13. How do I delete my Visa Travel Happy Account?
Visa Travel Happy Accounts can only be deleted on the desktop version of the Visa Travel Happy website.

14. How long are "Saved Offers" available?
Saved Offers will be automatically removed from the Saved Offers list after 30 days.  Offers are displayed in chronological order, with most recent offers displayed first.

15. Why can’t I view ‘DID THIS’ experiences or saved trips on the Application?
Connect to your Visa Travel Happy account to view, manage or submit ’DID THIS’ experiences or view saved trips. To connect, read FAQ on “How do I link to my Visa Travel Happy Account?”

For non-Visa Travel Happy users, tapping on “DID THIS” will prompt you to sign in or register with a Visa Travel Happy Account.

16. Why can’t I submit an experience or complete “DID THIS” on the Application?
“Submit experiences” is only available if you are a Visa cardholder and have linked this Application to your Visa Travel Happy Account.

“DID THIS” can be selected only if you are connected to your Visa Travel Happy Account. If you are not connected, tapping on the DID THIS button will prompt you to sign in or register.

17. How can I suggest a destination that is not on the list?
To suggest a new destination, go to Travel and tap on “SUGGEST A DESTINATION” from the destination menu.

18. How can I view my own experiences and when do they appear in the list on the Application?
To view your own experiences, go to My Visa > My Experiences.

19. Can I view my Saved Destinations offline?
Yes. To save destination content for offline viewing, go to Travel > Destinations. Tap the “SAVE THIS DESTINATION” checkbox to save content to your mobile device. Tap again to deselect.  To view your list of saved destinations, go to Travel, tap on the right-hand menu followed by “SAVED DESTINATIONS”.

20. How can I delete my trips?
Trips can only be deleted on the Visa Travel Happy website and not on the Application. Go to the Trips page on the Visa Travel Happy website and tap "DELETE". Only trips that are in 'planning', 'on-trip', and 'post-trip (incomplete)' modes can be deleted. Completed trips and the experiences within these trips cannot be deleted.

21. How can I find out about the Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy?

答:Visa快乐旅行是一个旅游平台,提供一站式Visa旅行工具和信息(全球万全支援服务或GCAS、秘书专属服务、货币转换器和ATM定位设置)、海外优惠和促销活动、目的地旅游内容和标志性体验、旅行消费情况、机场和Wi-Fi信息等。Visa快乐旅行支持PC安装和作为该应用软件的移动端网站。您可以规划并创建您的个性化旅行,转为PDF文件格式下载到Visa快乐旅行网站的PC端,然后在手机上随时查看您已保存的旅行信息。您还可以将旅行体验上传,通过社交网络与朋友分享。

答:当您在海外使用Visa卡时,可以用货币转换器获得指示汇率,还可以用它来查看使用目的地本国货币或您的首选货币消费的体验,以此协助您规划行程。汇率为用Visa卡处理交易当日的汇率,可能与实际交易日有所差别。若无数据连接,则以最后一次保存的汇率为准。

5. 问:我如何改变居住国家/地区?
答:"居住国家/地区"是指您所在的国家/地区。首次激活应用软件时,与您的移动设备区域设置相对应的就是您的居住国家/地区。该信息将自动与您的移动设备设置匹配,因而一旦设定,将无法更新。您将无法更新居留的国家/地区,因为它会根据您的移动设备的设置进行自动设置。

6. 问:我如何改变首选语言?
答:应用软件的语言设置为您的居住国家/地区的默认语言。可选语言取决所选国家/地区可供使用的语言。

  • 如果您已自定义您的应用软件,请访问我的Visa > 个人资料和设置。点击"编辑",使用下拉菜单选择另一种语言,然后点击"完成"。

答:如果您在移动设备上开启了提醒和通知,您会收到与您的居住国家/地区相关的提醒和通知。更改移动设备的设置关闭提醒和通知,但这意味着您将接收不到应用发出的提醒和通知。

10. 问:使用该应用软件时会收取数据费吗?
答:当您通过3G/LTE,而不是WiFi访问某些服务(如"附近")时,就会收取数据费。为避免不必要的费用,请尽可能连接WiFi,并在国外旅行时关掉数据漫游。数据费用因运营商而不同。请联系您的移动服务提供商,以了解数据漫游费用。

答:想要断开Visa快乐旅行连接,请访问我的Visa,点击"自定义" > "断开连接",然后选择"是"进行确认。

一旦断开连接,您将无法浏览在应用软件上创建的旅行和体验。您的旅行徽章将不再可见,同时您将无法提交体验或点选"已尝试"来标记您已完成的体验。

13. 问:我如何删除我的Visa快乐旅行账户?
答:Visa快乐旅行账户只有在PC端才可以删除。

14. 问:"已保存优惠"可用多久?
答:已保存优惠在清单中留存30天后自动清除。优惠按时间顺序排列,最新优惠排在第一位。

15. 问:为什么我无法在应用软件上浏览"已尝试"的旅行体验和已保存的旅行?
答:连接到您的Visa快乐旅行账户查看、管理或提交"已尝试"旅行体验或浏览已保存旅行。欲连接账户,请阅读常见问题回答第11条"我如何连接到我的Visa快乐旅行账户?"。非Visa快乐旅行用户,点击"已尝试",系统会自动提示您登录或注册Visa快乐旅行账户。

16. 问:为什么我无法在应用软件上提交体验或完成"已尝试"这一操作?
答:"提交体验"只有Visa卡持卡人将该应用软件连接到个人Visa快乐旅行账户才可操作。连接到个人Visa快乐旅行账户后,可以删除"提交体验"。若您没有连接账户,点击"已尝试"按钮,系统会自动提示您登录或注册账户。

17. 问:我如何推荐不在列表中的目的地?
答:欲添加目的地,访问"旅行",然后从目的地菜单中选择"推荐目的地"。

18. 问:我如何浏览自己的体验,这些体验何时会出现在应用软件列表中?
答:欲浏览您的体验,请访问我的Visa > 我的体验。

19. 问:我可以离线浏览已保存的目的地吗?
答:可以。欲保存目的地内容供离线浏览,请访问旅行 > 目的地。点击"保存目的地"复选框,将内容保存到您的移动设备。再次点击以取消选择。欲浏览已保存目的地,请访问旅行,点击右侧菜单,再点击"已保存目的地"。请注意机场和WiFi信息不支持离线浏览。

20. 问:我如何删除我的行程?
答:行程只能在Visa快乐旅行官网删除,不可以在应用软件上删除。请访问Visa快乐旅行官网行程页面,然后点击"删除"。只有处于"规划行程"、"旅途中"和"旅途后(不完整)"模式的行程可以删除。已完成的行程及其体验不可以删除。
